Scott's Books carries a large inventory of out-of-print children's books, Caldecott and Newbery award winners and honor books, pop-ups and moveable books, and many illustrated books from 1870 to present.
We also carry a large selection of Dick and Jane books, as well as children's primers and readers from 1840 to 1965.
We have a number of books by authors and illustrators we admire, and whose work we cherish; Tasha Tudor, Elizabeth Orton Jones, Richard Scarry, Vojtech Kubasta, N.C. Wyeth, and many, many more!
We also have a large selection of books by Edward Gorey. Yes, we know, Gorey transcends the children's category, but we just love his work, so we can't help ourselves!
We operate on a By Appointment schedule only. You may call us at anytime at 603-672-9272 to set up an appointment to browse our shelves. We gladly will do a booksearch on any title you'd like, and we'll keep you in our database for, oh, let's say 300 years! What a deal!
